The Vallimunai 10MW Wind Power plant is located in the Killinochchi district of Sri Lanka and consists of a total of 8 wind turbines placed in a single row facing the Jaffna lagoon. This plant contributes over 35 Giga Watt hours of green energy to the Nation Grid. It was commissioned in December 2014.

The plant has a total capacity of 10 MW, and generates an average of 21 GWh of energy annually. In addition, the plant saves a total of 16,000 MT in CO2 emissions
This 1MW Solar Power Plant is developed in Vavuniya under Phase II of the community-based power program “Soorya Bala Sangramaya”. Bi-facial photovoltaic modules were installed with a single axis tracker system in this power plant. The plant is established in a 5-acre land. The project was commissioned in February 2019.
