The Seethagala mini hydro power plant project under Energy Reclamation (Pvt) Ltd has an installed capacity of 0.8MW. Upon completion of its commercial term in 2019, the plant was recommissioned by CEB for another commercial term. The open air type right bank power plant has 5m3/s design flow & 21m net head to provide 52% annual plant factor. The project was first commissioned in April 2004.

This mini hydro project was constructed under Vidul Madugeta (Pvt) Ltd. and is located in Madugeta, Neluwa, in the southern province of Sri Lanka. The plant was commissioned in November 2013.

This power plant is located closeby to the Dambulu Oya reservoir in Sri Lanka, which is situated in Dambulla in the Central Province. This is a 3.2MW project with an annual energy output of 16.5 GWh. The identified location of the weir is on the Dambulu Oya Reservoir, a tributary of the Mahaweli river in Dambulla. The design flow of the plant is 27m3/s and plant factor is 32%. The project was commissioned in December 2016.

The Mahoma Small Hydro Power Project is located in the Burahya Sub-county in Kabarole district. This project has a capacity of 3MW. It operates by diverting water from the Mahoma River with a head of 90 meters with a design flow of 3.7 m3/s to generate with 48% plant factor. The project was commissioned in October 2018.

Ziba Limited
The Kyambura Small Hydro Power Plant is located on the Kyambura River in the Rubiziri district in South-western Uganda. The plant was commissioned in July 2019. The key project structures comprise a concrete flow diversion weir and intake, a pebble basin for flushing coarse river bed material, a 2.7 km headrace canal, incorporating a settling basin tank, forebay, 0.95 km of penstock, and a surface power station. The power station has a combined installed capacity of 7.6 MW and an estimated plant factor of 52%.
