SOLAR ONE CEYLON 10 MW

WindForce has a 50% stake in Solar One Ceylon (PVT) LTD., a solar photovoltaic power plant located in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The plant has a total capacity of 10 MW, and generates an average of 21 GWh of energy annually. In addition, the plant saves a total of 16,000 MT in CO2 emissions. This plant was commissioned in December of 2016.

VYDEXA SOLAR 10 MW- SRI LANKA

The Vydexa 10 MW solar photovoltaic power plant was constructed at Katharsinnakulam, located in the Vavuniya district of Sri Lanka. A total of 35,721 350 Wp solar photovoltaic modules have been installed. The power plant was established in a land stretch of 23 Ha. The project was commissioned in July of 2017.

SUNNY CLIME SOLAR 1 MW– SRI LANKA

The Sunny Clime 1 MW solar power plant was developed in Vavuniya under Phase II of the community-based power program ‘Soorya Bala Sangramaya’. Bi-facial photovoltaic modules were installed with a single-axis tracker system in this power plant. The plant is established on a 5-acre land. The project was commissioned in February of 2019.

The Seruwawila solar power plant is situated in Vavuniya, Sri Lanka. It has a capacity of 1 MW and generated 1.7 GWh annually. It also saves an average of 1000 MT of CO2 per year. This plant was commissioned on the 10th of February of 2019.

GHARO SOLAR 50 MW– PAKISTAN

The Gharo Solar (Pvt) Ltd. (GSPL) project involved the setting up of a 50 MWp solar photovoltaic power plant near the Gharo district of Thatta, in the Sindh province of Pakistan. The project will be set in an IPP module in the licensed territory of K-Electric Ltd. (KE). The project was commissioned in December of 2019.

TORORO SOLAR 10 MW– UGANDA

The Tororo PV Power Company Ltd. 10 MWp solar power project is located in the Tororo district, Uganda. The plant is established on a land extent of 50 acres. A state-of-the-art solar facility with a single-axis tracking technology has been designed for use in this project. WindForce is one of the first companies to invest in a solar power project in Uganda. The project will contribute 22.7 GWh to the national grid. The project was commissioned in August of 2020.

SURYADHANAVI (PVT)LTD
  This ambitious Rooftop Solar Power Project was developed under the Net Plus scheme. A total capacity of 11.2MWp has been developed on the industrial rooftops of Akbar Brothers and Hirdaramani Group factories across Sri Lanka. Solar PV installations are spread over 12 locations in different parts of the island and connected to the National Grid through 20 grid connections. The project was commissioned in October 2018. The Suryadhanavi (Pvt)Ltd rooftop solar power project was developed under the Net Plus scheme, and was commissioned in April of 2019. The Suryadhanavi plant was developed on the industrial rooftops of the Akbar Brothers and Hirdaramani Group factories spread across the island. This plant has a total capacity of 11.4 MW, and generates an average of 15 GWh of energy annually. In addition, this plant also saves up 11,000 MT of CO2  emissions.
SOLAR UNIVERSE (PVT) LTD - 10 MW
WindForce has obtained ⅓ of equity ownership of Solar Universe (PVT) LTD, the first agrivoltaic plant in Sri Lanka, through a share purchase.
