Siyambalanduwa Solar Power Project – 100 MW

WindForce PLC, in collaboration with Lakdhanavi Ltd, is set to undertake Sri Lanka’s largest private-sector renewable energy project. This is a 100MW Solar Power Plant with a Transmission Facility to be set up in Siyambaladuwa, Monaragala District. With a total investment of USD 133 million, this landmark venture represents a significant milestone in the country’s transition towards clean energy. Scheduled for completion before April 2026, the project is also Sri Lanka’s first integrated renewable energy project, combining power generation, storage, and Transmission.

Accordingly, solidifying WindForce’s position as a driving force within Sri Lanka’s renewable energy sector, the project will be delivered as an all-inclusive package, encompassing a 100MW Solar Power Plant, a cutting-edge 12MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), a 2×63.5MVA, 132/33kV Grid Substation, and an extensive 27km, 132/33kV Transmission Line.

Safe Power International (Pvt) Ltd – Wind Power Project – 10 MW

WindForce PLC has strengthened its renewable energy portfolio through the acquisition of a 51% equity stake in Safe Power International (Pvt) Ltd, with the remaining 49% held by Arinma Power (Pvt) Ltd. This partnership was formalized with the signing of a Shareholder Agreement on 03 October 2025.
Safe Power International (Pvt) Ltd has been established to develop a 10 MW Wind Power Project in Alankuda, Puttalam District, Sri Lanka. With an estimated project cost of LKR 4.2 billion, the project marks a significant addition to the country’s growing clean energy capacity.
This strategic investment enhances WindForce’s leadership in the renewable energy sector and is expected to contribute positively to the Company’s long‑term earnings, sustainability goals, and commitment to driving Sri Lanka’s transition toward greener power generation.

Diya Janani (Pvt) Ltd – Floating Solar Project – 5MW

WindForce is expanding its renewable energy portfolio with the development of a 6.5MWdc / 5MWac Floating Solar Power Plant on the Dambuluoya Reservoir, undertaken by its wholly owned subsidiary Diya Janani (Pvt) Ltd. The project reached a significant milestone with the signing of the Standard Power Purchase Agreement (SPPA) with the Ceylon Electricity Board on 27 November 2025.
With an estimated investment of LKR 1,176 million, this initiative stands as one of the first private‑sector floating solar projects in Sri Lanka. It underscores WindForce’s ongoing commitment to introducing advanced clean‑energy technologies and driving innovation within the country’s power sector.
